Canninghill Square by CDL & CapitaLand

A new integrated development, Canninghill Square the shopping mall and CanningHill Piers condominium will be constructed at River Valley Road in Clarke Quay. The two towers of the property will be set up to accommodate about 700 units each. Previously, there were several developments on the site, including the Novotel hotel, the Liang Court mall, and Somerset Liang Court’s serviced apartments.

CanningHill Square would be an integrated development comprising of CanningHill Piers which includes two residential towers which would house around 700 apartments, have a commercial component, a Hotel, serviced residence with a hotel license and a basement car park.
It is expected that the property will be developed 50:50 by CLD and CapitaLand after CDLHT sold it to them. Some of Ascott Reit’s assets on the site, including Somerset Liang Court, have been sold to CDL.

CDL and CapitaLand will own the commercial and residential components, while 192 units of serviced residence with a hotel license will be under Ascott Reit. A forward purchase agreement between CDLHT and CDLHT will see CDLHT own the hotel with rooms in the range of 460 to 470. The hotel will be managed by Marriott International as Moxy, while the serviced residences will be managed by Somerset. This project is scheduled for completion by 2024.

Canninghill Square @ River Valley Road
